Scope of Work

The Challenge

RBA partnered with Bonaventure Development to develop a new apartment community in Virginia Beach, VA. RBA served as the Architect of Record, completing the design and managing the construction administration.

Situated within an established neighborhood and bordered by major roadways, the site presented a unique challenge in determining an efficient layout. Creative planning solutions were employed to develop a compact site plan that maximizes land use while respecting its surroundings.

With multiple buildings distributed across the property, the design team leveraged the site’s natural high points to optimize building placement and circulation. A carefully integrated stormwater drainage system was implemented to support the desired residential density while managing runoff responsibly and sustainably.
