The Challenge
Alvin Keels, a note sports agent, is investing in his hometown of Portsmouth, Virginia. Purchasing the last contiguous lot in Cavalier Manor, his vision of bringing modern housing with unique amenities will forever change the face of housing in the area.
RBA has created a bold modern community with various amenities. Along with a coffee shop available to all Portsmouth Residents, the Community center will be the focal of the development and sets the tone with creative materials and unique spaces. Working with City planning staff, RBA developed a prototype apartment building that is then referenced throughout the site. Unique design aspects include a bio-retention basin, walkable trails, and a state-of-the-art community building.
