Transitional River House

This home, situated behind the client's former home, is on a pointe along the river. The site proportions led the design team to create a courtyard design with the garage. This meant that the garage would be highly visible when approaching the home. Balancing the proportions of the oversized garage and the main body of the house was done successfully with a central focal point at the main entry door. Inside, the home has multiple levels of ceilings and expansive views through the rear porch to the river.
